PONNUMTHURUTH ISLAND (GOLDEN ISLAND)

(40 km from Thiruvananthapuram) A delightful getaway surrounded by the Ajego back waters, this uninhabited isle is accessible by boat from the make shift at near by Neduganda village

The annual sivarathri festival is when the island come to life and the dazzling light on display make it worth waiting for every year
